Escape to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Updated: Feb 16, 2019

I think I was putting off writing this post because truly, I just didn’t know what to say. And I’m about to say what I want to say, but I’d like to preface it with the fact that Disney is doing a lot to make Hollywood Studios better. There is a lot of construction going on to make way for Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land. But, I am going to say what I feel:

Hollywood Studios is really boring.

They have two amazing rides, right next to each other: Rockin Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror. But other than those two rides, there isn’t much to do!

I do like their version of the rides better than I do at Disneyland. For example, Midway Mania is SO cool, all inside Andy’s bedroom, with giant toys everywhere making you feel seriously small.

I like that Tower of Terror sort of has this movement, where you’re in that room that you travel through with all the Twilight Zone stuff.

But other than that… Thank God they sell beer?

I’m really not going to go off on this post just because truly, we spent about 5 hours at Hollywood Studios for one day of our trip, and that was it.

I cannot wait to go back in a few years with the new editions. I know that the two new lands are going to be incredible, and I can’t wait to see them!

No lie, the following is all of the photos we took at Hollywood Studios. All 16 of them. 17 if you count my cover photo above!

Sometimes we smile and have fun on rides....

Sometimes we keep a straight face.

Ran into a Pixar friend at the park!

I got a ticket for loitering... and a ticket for not taking my first ticket seriously.

Life size Andy's room, as in, I'm the toy, everything is bigger than me!

Except this pretzel...

I WON!

There's Mike again!
