Photo Diary: Flowers of Costa Rica
Updated: Feb 16, 2019
I live in Nevada. I see sagebrush. And... some trees. That were planted. Oh yeah! Pine trees in the hills, lots of those. But other than that… I know some people with a few plants in their house. There’s also the fact that Nevada is brown. Like really brown. Most people think it’s so ugly because it’s just so brown.
So when I got to Costa Rica, even though it was dark, I was amazed by the green. It is green like no other place I have ever visited.
You see rain forests in documentaries and on TV, but really. Nothing is this green.
And I LOVED IT.
And I took a million photos of the green. The plants. The flowers. The whole place. And most of those photos just didn’t find homes in the blog posts I’ve shared about Costa Rica. So now they will be shared here.
This is my photo diary of the beautiful plants and landscapes of Costa Rica. Enjoy!
Want to learn more about where I found all these plants? Not more about the plants themselves, I couldn’t tell you anything about those. But. They were from places like La Fortuna, Puerto Viejo, and Sarapiquí. And I wrote about those places here:
